Evening all, building a computer for a friend who has a MSI 970A-G46 that needed updating for the new FX-4170 processor he got.
Everything worked before the update! The bios menu was quite lovely, with a 'live update' bios updater that was supposed to make my life easier.
Bios Updated downloaded, installed correctly, then when I clicked 'start' at the end of the live update install the screen displayed some colored bars on the top of the screen along and upon restart there is no video signal.
Help? Anyone know how to reverse this or is the board bricked as I can't get a video signal any longer?
Thanks,
-Kevin
