In the HP network drivers for Windows 8 for my machine (12-b113au) there are five drivers, two of them seemed to just be bluetooth drivers, 1st and 4th, but the other 3 (Qualcomm Atheros AR9000 Series Wireless LAN Driver for Microsoft Window//Ralink 802.11 Wireless LAN Adapter//Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver) seemed to be releveant. No Ethernet drivers HP. Thread starter Brandon Stickle; Start date Oct 17, 2014; Forums. When i plug it in, i get no notifications like windows 7, i go to device manager and i dont see any network drivers, i do see 'Ethernet controller' with a big yellow question mark, i checked its properties and said i need to re-install drivers.

Can you post back with the full Model No. and Product No. of the notebook ( from the service tag underneath your notebook ) - see Here for a further explanation.

Hi,
First, download and install the WLAN driver on the link below.
After this installation has completed, download and install the Card Reader driver on the following link.
After this has installed, check Device Manager to see if this has resolved the issue.

Hi even in my notebook the same problem i mean the PCI device driver is not found. I downloaded intel chipset and installed it but still it is not workig. even SM bus was missing but it was solved when i instaled the intel chipset. now can you please help me to resolve the PCI issue. My note book is a Hp pavilion g6, model no-1201tx
